Abstract
Bei der Untersuchung von Bodenproben aus dem Donaudelta wurde ein Pilzstamm isoliert, der zunächst für ein Trichophyton terrestre gehalten werden konnte, doch war die Oberfläche nicht so körnig, die Rückseite zeigte ein auffälliges rotes Pigment, die Mikrokonidien waren kleiner, und Makrokonidien fehlten. Vergleiche mit dem Original‐stamm von Ajello führten zur Diagnose Trichophyton georgiae. Kurze Zeit darauf wurde in der Nähe des Dorfes Maliue in Erdbodenproben auch Trichophyton vanbreuseghemii nachgewiesen. Dieser Stamm wurde difrerentialdiagno‐stisch gegen Keratinomyces ajelloi und gegen Microsporum vanbreuseghemii abgegrenzt und mit dem Originalstamm von Rioux verglichen. Bei immunbiologischen Prüfungen wurde gefunden, daß T. georgiae und T. vanbreuseghemii ähnliche Antigeneigenschaften aufwiesen wie Trichophyton mentagrophytes und T. quinckeanum, die meist zur Herstellung von “Standard‐Trichophytin” verwendet werden. Es gelang, Kaninchen gegen beide Stämme zu immunisieren und Antikörper im Kanin‐chenserum nachzuweisen. Die Pathogenität wurde an 3 Meerschweinchen, 4 Mäusen und 3 freiwilligen Versuchs‐personen geprüft. Die Infektionen gingen jedoch nicht an.
